The main idea of the project is to make known to a larger international audience, the artistic product of numerous worth-listening  greek composers. The music that is published here is only for educational purposes and not commercial.

Greece as many other small countries does not have the resources to support an  "export" of its music , sometimes not even a publication within the country itself, which means many of its valuable artistic products remain largely unknown, some of them are already forgotten, regardless of their quality.

Looking down to a knew generation of musicians and musicologists in Greece who are trying to revive the need of fine arts in a country that suffers due to the economical crisis, created the need of a public plattform such as our website in order to share the discoveries and restore a part of greek modern history that was almost lost.
